CARLA BRION

Carla is a holistic practitioner, based in Adelaide, with extensive experience in clinical and private practice.
Carla is a qualified doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a registered Herbalist and Acupuncturist, trained in Melbourne and China with a double degree in Applied Science (Chinese Medicine and Human Biology).

 

Carla believes in the importance of restoring balance in every aspect of your life, nurturing physical, mental and emotional health awareness. She works with patients to make lifestyle and dietary adjustments to complement her Chinese Medicine treatment to get the best results. Carla see's education as being key, so that her patients can take their health into their own hands.

Carla is very passionate about integrative medicine, with a special interest in women’s health and family planning, and has an interest in supporting digestive issues + gut health and and emotional disorders like stress, anxiety and depression. She is best known for her knowledge in supporting natural fertility, hormone balancing (PCOS, Endometriosis, fibroids,) and she just loves working with pregnancy and IVF support. Being able to share the journey of pregnancy to motherhood is such an honour. Carla is such a strong advocate for postnatal care and truly believes all new mothers need to be supported, which is why she co-found 'The Golden Month' ; traditional in-home postnatal care.

Outside of work, she loves the water and enjoys surfing down the Mid Coast of SA. Carla is also a yogi and also loves whole-foods, traveling internationally + locally, seeing live music and spending time with her family, friends and rescue dog Gypsy. She is a proud a mother to her daughter, Farrah and her son, Iluka. Being a mother has brought about a whole new aspect to her practice.

 

ACCREDITATIONS: 
 

Carla is registered with AHPRA (Australian Health  Practitioners Regulation Agency), CMBA (Chinese Medicine Board of Australia) and a is an active member of AACMA (Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association).

​

She is a qualified 5 Element Acupuncturist and Cosmetic Acupuncturist + Facial Rejuvenation Practitioner. She has also gone on to do further study in Women’s Health with a focus on Fertility and Pregnancy and IVF Support. Carla is currently undertaking a mentorship in Acupuncture /Chinese Medicine and Pregnancy and Postnatal care.
